Comment:
Let me preface this mix by saying I am not a big Van Morrison fan, and Moondance is the only CD of his I actually own. Since I have listened to Moondance so much, there was no way to put those songs on this mix in a different order, so none of the songs from that CD are included in this mix. This was probably the hardest mix I ever made just because there were so many songs to pick from, and I generally like simple, short, straightforward pop songs -- so Van Morrison doesn't really do it for me. That said, this is one of the favorite mixes I have ever made. When Van Morrison is isolated to these songs, I like him :) My all-time favorite Van Morrison song is Crazy Love from Moondance, but other favorites include Full Force Gale and Wonderful Remark.Feedback:
Excellent se;ections. Of course, you're going to have omissions on a 1 disc Van mix but some great stuff here. 1,2,6,10 and 13 are particular favorites but I don't know if I could have done a Van mix without "Into the Mystic".
another fine SAM.

Very nice. I have a Van Morrison mix called Feeling the Need.
A very 'hit and miss' artist in my view . . . A Van single artist mix is therefore a great thing to do . . . but where to start ? I would have had to include Moondance material . . . good stuff . . .
You bastard! You knew I only wanted to hear Moondance! I'm taking this personally. I know you tried to get around me by sticking Tupelo Honey on the end, but it won't wash! I feel cheated. You've not heard the last of this....was I finished?
Works for me. We were listening to Veedon Fleece last night... wonderful.
