Comment:

This is a mix I just made for one of my girlfriend's co-workers. He and I have very similar tastes in everything (tunes, sense of humor, movies, etc) except for food (he doesn't see a "difference" for instance, between Cheeze-Its and the far inferior Cheese Nips). The title comes from the fact that we both like shirts with snaps... Mad props to sammyg123 for the "Heartbeats" song - it's been my warm weather am as of late. Keen observors will note that tracks 4-7 appear on my last mix in the same order... This is not (entirely) out of laziness. They worked so well together I decided to build a new mix around them...

Quite a few unfamiliar tracks for me too, but great Calexico pick, as well as Matt Pond, Kings of Leon, and YLT.

i am absolutely totally obsessed with cheeze-its, i eat them with every meal & cannot understand how anyone can not see the difference -- i could write a novel on this subject (maybe i should). oh, & the mix looks great too -- some stuff i don't know scattered amongst some real gems.

here's a wierd thing . . . I'm getting a subliminal Abba message coming to me when I look at this . . . . That aside, this looks like it would stand up to repeated listens (dengue Fever is a fave in the Gobi house at the mo).

Excellent start to finish. Tk 11 just made it onto my next mix, love that tune. Great 2-6 strech ( glad you like Heartbeats! ). And I like your 18/19 bit also..

Mmm, I DO like that 4-7 stretch. Heartbeats, too. And I gotta rebuy that Grizzly Bear album... first one was stolen...

Looks great. Love the Deerhoof, Yo La Tengo and Dengue Fever picks especially. And, uhm, Cheeze-Its...definitely Cheeze-Its. Never Cheese Nips.

Haven't a clue what cheeze-its are or cheese nips but the mix looks delicious.

I am not quite certain on "Its" or "Nips" because Honestly, I prefer Jacob's Cream Crackers or Wellington Water Crackers. That aside, this mix takes the biscuit with tracks 2|5|15|20.

Very nice, but I must admit I'm happy to live in ignorance of those cheese snack products.
