Comment:

I got to thinking recently that my AotM output only reflects a relatively small percentage of my listening habits so I decided to post this in an attempt to redress the balance. Inspired in no small part by two of my favourite envelope pushers Curtis and Alexandra A nod to to the ever challenging Chris and everyones favourite Makem Cliff largely for his listen with difficulty japes.
So the mix itself is largely acid fried folk with a few diversions thrown in for the sake of science, you need some alkaline to balance out the acid right?

Excellent Barry. Love the Jack Rose, Sun City Girls, Giant Sand, Sverrisson and In Gowan Ring picks especially. Splendid, just splendid. Can't wait to give this a spin.

And here I was fooling myself into thinking that, if I can never hope to make an acoustic mix that wouldn't pale in comparison to yours, I could at least beat you in the 'experimental' department! Nah, only kidding about the rivalry of course - this looks wonderful, Barry. Listening to the opener right now, which I hadn't known, and it's as great as everything else that I know on this one. Looking forward to a few more discoveries!

Dude, that's company you're placing me with might be the biggest compliment I've ever received. I am blown away. And, this mix!!! Just amazing. I am working on some mixes of this ilk, but this and recent offerings have definately raised the bar. I am most grateful for the words and the tunes.

Kind of like being lost in the woods on a hot English day with your best friend. That means I love it.
