Comment:

Jean Michel Jarre -- while almost unknown in North America -- is considered a national treasure by France and holds world records for his concerts -- which regularly draw _millions_ of people. His 'first' album, "Oxygene" (1976) was a triumph of early electronic music, and still one of the most beautiful albums ever produced. But his roots predate that by many years. Here are 25 singles songs from that before-time, including (bafflingly enough) the same single that he record as/with different folks all in the same year. Go figure. [This is CD 3 in a 4 CD set of early Jarre rarities including "Deserted Palace", "Les Granges Brullees", and "Musique pour Supermarche"). However, each of these was only available as really awful bootlegs...I have given them all artwork and tidied up the sound, as they deserve.
