My third Rhythm Hymns collection (hence the title of course) and this one is a bit more uptempo and indeed has assumed a distinctly World Music identity.

I'm often a little insular with my tastes and have been addressing this imbalance lately, thanks in large part to the scope and breadth of sounds that appear on a daily basis on this site.

So join me on a pilgrimage across tundra, arid sands , rain forests, and concrete jungles.

Mon ami, you never cease to amaze me with the shear depth and abundance of your music tastes. There's not enough world music submitted round these parts; I've been working on something quite similar to this all year though at the rate I'm going said mix won't be finalised for some months yet.

yes, the global scope of this one is particularly nice. it's the 2nd time I've turned on to Bell Orchestre, and I need more. the Sun Ra and Tamba Trio tracks stood out too in this fine set. looking forward to #4.
