Comment:
Essentially, this is a "she's gone" mix. Definitly, I put some weird choices to mix together, but again, these are some of my favorites.Fiona Apple's, I think, can be pretty universal, and I mainly put it in for the rise-and-fall of the music. "You Won't See Me" is in there for personal reasons, as well as The Ramones, and most of the Dylan "Blood On The Tracks" songs.
If I was going to put my "real" mix? It wouldn't be a mix, it'd just be "Blood On The Tracks"- Dylan, "Rubber Soul"- The Beatles, and "Blood And Chocolate"- Elvis Costello.
Hope ya' dig it.
Feedback:
outstanding up and down the lineup.
Tangled up in a great mix. Love the Dylan bookends!
Dead Flowers is a great drunken sidewalk song
Wow, thank you guys a lot. I'll definitly be posting more!
And hell yes, Dead Flowers is like...I don't know, everytime I hear it, I feel knocked-down and dragged-out, much like Otis Redding's "I've Got Dreams To Remember".
