Ted Leo next to Ditty Bops? I like. And my favorite Of Montreal song!

This looks really good though I'm having trouble understanding how the Jeff Buckley tune might fit here. However, I should say that I don't know Long Fin Killie and I also like the unexpected change-ups like the one FoolThemAll cited.

Good stuff, old friend. I don't quite "get" Deerhoof yet, but I love that song, as well as the tunes from Scritti P and Camera Obscura. Hope all is well in your world of words and yarn.

Well, you see, I asked my friend to give me a list of performers she liked, and then I picked other people and bands I thought she would like based on that list. (I may have ended up picking other acts she already knows, but I know some of these will be new or mostly new to her.) So Jeff Buckley's in there because of Rufus Wainwright and Leah Siegel's appearance on her list.

(P.S. to Moe -- the latest Deerhoof album is the first one I've liked all the way through. Now I have to go back and listen to some others to see if my perspective has changed.)
