Beaks Instead of Eyes
Comment:
I made this for Rob and sent him the link this evening, I intended to wait a while to post but I'm going away for a few days and what with link expiry an' all I might as well shoot it into your ears now. If you like your alt country to have a dash of indie, a splash of the bizarre oh and a gifted frontman then join the party.
Feedback:
Oh! Now this looks QUITE interesting AND different. Much thanks for the share.
I'm looking forward to checking this out, Barry, and thank you for offering to compile such a mix. I'll report back when I've fully absorbed it.
i've actually been meaning to check into these folks for quite a while, so thanks for affording me the opporunity, my good man - cheers
i'll be checking it out also. thanks!
When I saw "Beaks" I thought you might have the next edition of "Birdsong"! Don't know their music, but "Alone in the Make-Out Room" certainly sounds sad.
Great band, great compilation.
No nothing of The Broken Family Band. I am pathetic.
I, too, know nada & zip although I respect your choices and ability.
I'm sure Rob appreciates this. I certainly do. I knew 'Where The Hell Is My Baby' due to the wonderful 'We Are All Strangers Here' mix of yours. And I checked out 'John Belushi' as I seem to recall it being your most played song EVER! on Last Fm.
This was great. Loved the opener, The Perfect Gentleman and the gorgeous 'Nights In the Tractorbeam' the most....
