uhm, i was born in 84 and i don't know much about 80's music. but i have heard all of the songs on that list. maybe you should pick some songs by lesser known artists.. if you really want the next generation to remember the 80's, pick songs we won't remember on our own.

great mix! this, dear children, is the textbook definition of alternative music. from an era when dave kendall hosted 120 minutes every sunday night, the young ones was "da bomb", and the word jackass was not an integral part of our vocabulary. any questions....see me after class.

great mix. I remember Dave Kendall back when 120 Minutes was good and when MTV played videos.

My high school/college years all over again! Great idea, I must make one of these, since I own most of these cds! (although some artists I only have on cassette - remember buying pre-made cassette tapes?)
