A darker, more psychadelic side of rock n' roll with a specific focus on harmonizing. Have the classics in here from Wilson of course (California Girls will always be my favorite arrangement of his) and some of the Beatles more interesting vocal attempts. Got some of that new-fangled indie shit (Panda/Grizzly Bear) on here to please the recipient, plus a few wildcards for good measure (Eno, Gorky). Lots of Olivia Tremor Control as well: a very overlooked & gifted segment of the 90s "underground."
