Comment:

There is a glaring omission here, a certain girl group, that I intended to include and then forgot. Obviously there will be more than one obvious omission to AOTM regulars.

I genuflect daily to the cocoa bean and sugar and all their close relatives. As an infant I had condensed milk teeth. At restaurants I pick at the main course saving myself for dessert. My ideal three course meal would be chocolate soup, followed by tiramisu drowned in double cream with a selection of the finest chocolates from around the world to round things off.Days of diabetic misery may await me.

This mix or one of our previous ones (pick a mix) up for grabs if you name the group I accidentally omitted.

Weird, you posted this probably minutes after my morality play about tooth decay. If it were the other way around I would have probably had to pilfer a few songs. Makes me forget my previous warnings...good job:-)

Sweet mix, candy cane kids. Motorcycle Boy. Les Miladys. Death By Chocolate. My guess for your accidental omission is Shonen Knife (I Wanna Eat Choco Bars). If it's a group name you're looking for, I'll guess the soul trio, Candy and the Kisses (though probably less obvious than what you're looking for). And if I'm right, you'll know which mix I'll pick ;)

Brilliant. I must have this mix, and because Moe had two guesses so shall I. I think the girl group is either Bananarama or more likely The Cookies. I hope I win, I hope I win....

Just so you know, Cookies was going to be my second (or third) choice! ;) Sammy even had them on our last mix. So if you win Sam the Man, will you make a copy for me?

This looks like an awesome mix. I was watching closely for some 1910 Fruitgum Company, though.

No winners yet.I intentionally left off Sugababes and the Cookies but this band I had written down and then overlooked.Maybe I used invisible ink.
Don't give up.They are a little obscure but they did make a few LP's.

Okay. I think I got it! The Cake! A late 60s girl band that released a couple albums. Gimme! Gimme!

I often comment on a mix by just writing 'Sweet' which would seem appropriate here.

I agree with Moe, it's got to be Cake ! For me it's sody pop, cola, any kind, I especially like to explore the varieties of small bottling companies. currently enjoyung some Boylin Grape soda. And what DJ could do without a giant can of Jolt ? Thank my gracious stars for pint cans of Pepsi. I digress... this mix was got me buzzing. Excellent.

Moe is the winner.Somehow I thought it'd be you.

MMMMMMMMM! Bravo for the Toby Twirl (or the Fourmyula's) "Toffee Apple Sunday"! The Fun And Games and Banana Splits are here, too! (and of course the resident girl-pop expert would get the quiz. He always does.)

this mix makes my tummy hurt. in a good way! have you ever eaten tiramisu while listening to Bow Wow Wow? it's pure heaven. as for the obvious omission, well done Moe. I woulda' guessed A Taste of Honey, but I suppose they'd be considered a sugar substitute.

This looks really, really sweet. (Yeah, yeah, I'm sure someone said this below.) Seriously, though, I don't much care for theme mixes but this is a great one.
