Comment:

One more for the road to Wales. Continuing in my alphabetical run down I arrive at the letter B. Having done the vowels I'm now proceeding in an orderly manner through the remaining letters. I could easily dedicate a triple CD to the letter B, it's awash with superior talent and yes I know there's been the odd oversight here. QUIZ: To win this mix tell me which band on this mix at some time have all worked as postmen. NOT ONLY will you win this mix but I'll make another B mix of bands that didn't make the cut to accompany it.

Wow. Black Flag and the Bee Gees on the same mix. Very different, but not in a bad way.

1-3,9,14-16, and 19 are my favorites here. Is the answer to the quiz Black Flag? I think Keith Morris is my current postman...

Agreed, B may be the best letter (Beatles, Beach Boys & Big Star), and it may take up more space than anything else on my shelves (though R and S are probably up there as well).

I was wondering when you were going to resume your "Artists Beginning With..." series. Looks like you've included most of the essential Bs here, as well as a few relative unknowns. I could think of a few others that I would have liked to have seen here, but that's B-sides the point. I used to get my mail from a short-haired Henry Rollins, so I'll go with Black Flag as well.

Lots of nice surprises. John Prine was a postmen, but he is not a B or a band. One of my fave Beach Boys songs, too, even if I'm not too hip on the concept ;-)

Bloody Brilliant. 29 of the Best Bs out there. I reckon when I hear BMX Bandits being interviewed they sound like Postmen, so I'll go for them as my answer...

Nobody has the answer....but you can have more than one guess.

Don't know the answer but Please tell me the name of Mr. Postman at some point. So, like a B-movie, is this a B-mix, destined to be a cult classic?

So are we ever going to get out answer??? I'll guess the Boo Radleys if you're allowing second guesses
