Comment:
Continuing on with songs from Rolling Stone's "Greatest 500 Songs of All Time" -- these are my favorites from the 60s. Even though I grew up in the 80s, the music I grew up to was The Beatles and Bob Dylan, the mainstays in my mom's record collection. My aunt worshipped Diana Ross, so Motown was a major influence as well. I would guess probably half of Rolling Stone's top 500 songs come from the 60s, so obviously this is just a small cross-section of the songs I like the best from their list (i.e., no Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, etc.). This mix ends at 1965, where the next volume will pick up.Feedback:
Per your observation "I would guess probably half of Rolling Stone's top 500 songs come from the 60s," I wonder if that is a bias in RS's picks, or if it really was a time of unusually good creativity?
Anyway, you have an excellent bunch here.

Amazing picks--this whole series you're putting together looks great.
