Comment:

This is a random shuffle from my iPod. As of today i've got 4,806 songs and this is what came up today. I was on an early 90's kick this past week. I added "Catherine Wheel", "Ocean Blue", "Lush" & "Saint Etienne". I add one band at a time so I don't have to wonder which songs I missed. I called in sick today, so we're going for a 2-parter (some classics came up).

You might not have ever heard of "Twa Toots", but that's a shame. They were one of John Peel's favorite bands in the early to mid 80's. They're kind of an alternative twee band. You probably won't find anything by them on limewire, but there are a couple that I've found that have some free songs to download. The first is: http://retrolowfi.com/2006/07/30/criminally-overlooked-004-twa-toots/ and the second is a Japanese site: h3.dion.ne.jp/~k-ochi/twatoots2.htm You should check them out and make sure you download "Please Don't Play 'A Rainy Night In Georgia'". It's a must-have 80's tune.
