These are the songs that slipped into my consciousness/iPod during my first summer living in New York City. It was really tricky fitting them into a good order, because there were a few songs that don't quite fit the flow, but they had to be there because they are here. You know? This summer sucked in a lot of ways, but these tracks saw me through.
