Comment:
What the little girls don't know, the backdoor men understand... For Laurie, who likes it that way! The Plugz tune is an homage to Greg Dark, one of my favorite filmmakers of any genre, who used it in New Wave Hookers Parts 1 & 2. Continuing with the cinematic theme, Bernard Purdie was lifted from the Lialeh soundtrack.Use as directed: these Motel mixes are always made for others' enjoyment and are formulaic, beginning with "ice-breaker" songs that may be funny or sweet, moving into some driving/hypnotic sounds, and possibly finishing with a "cool-down". This edition is more convoluted, requiring some preliminary peaks before the final surge (if it's to be useful for the ladies). "Requiem..." is not just a pun intended, but a bridge, as well.
Thanks to RC for the OutKast track, for talking me into pulling from a different Miles Davis album (I've always said the On the Corner lp was the perfect ***-bleeping music, but used it for a previous mix), and for the use of his hard drive whenever I want it.
Now if only DJ Karen would design the cover, this naughty thing would be complete!
P.S.
Lest my dear AotM friends and lovers think I'm an exhibitionist, let me assure you that, despite my sometimes corporeal-centric chatter, it's all about promoting better boinking; a sort of bedroom glasnost giving new nuance to "hands across the water".
Feedback:
Hot stuff. Love The Seed (2.0) and Moja Pt. 2.
alot of really cool looking stuff here - the roots track is particularly a personal favorite
"Did you jump?"
"Well, a little at first."
Digging the opener, the Tina, the Outkast and the Miles and I need to hear the Buck 65.

Excellent stuff. My all time favourite Outkast track ( just wonderful ) and anyone who doesn't like The Seed, well damn them! Love the opener too...
Nice work, hot stuff. ;-) Seriously, I'm happy to help.
Nice. Love that stretch from 6-8.
Wonderful stuff!
I feel dirty just reading the track listing. Reminds me of a dirty little motel in Red Deer, Alberta I was forced to stay in once (by myself, I might add) where the bed, believe it or not, hung from the ceiling on chains (with the obligatory mirror overhead!). Ick. I don't know that Miles track. I'll have to search it out. Which album is it from?
can i get a copy?! this looks nasty, as in awesome!
just What fritz said
Brilliant stuff. You seem to have gotten "The Fudge Punch" from that dreadful "Rife" album, though. The original Wiseblood version is (and sounds) much better.
Always good to have some preliminary peaks before the final surge. All I need now is directions to said establishment. Great mix.
Smooth moves, girlfriend.
Is Laurie also known by another name???? I may have dated her once upon a young man's time...
Ike and Tina really nail that song, don't they . . . .Suitably backdoor !
Suuuperbad!
Ahem, uhm, hmmm...yes, well, er...lovely piece. Lovely piece of work, yes, piece of work.
woke up today with no idea where I was. not again. a quick glance at the stationary by the bed revealed my whereabouts: The Swank Motel. it all came swirling back to me: after another #7 night of #1 and basically a #9, I was kicking myself since I'd promised myself (and my wife Janice) that I'd never let another #2 of #4 #8 and #3 with her #5, which had clearly sent #10 of my loins all over the bed #13 once again. though I'm sure we'll be making #12 soon, I'll do my best to convince my lovely little Janice that I'm finally #16 on this chapter of my life once and for all. I stumbled to the car and sped off toward the highway with Miles Davis blaring on the AM radio and a half-eaten 3 Musketeers chocolate bar in my left hand. Princess Superstar, Ike & Tina and Mr. Davis tracks were the highlights of this most wonderful concoction.
