A mix to celebrate a friend's coming of age and my first mix after having gone almost a year without a tapedeck. Side one is mostly about naivete, growing up, and the novels and films of S.E. Hinton. Side two is all about patti smith, my friend's favorite performer as well as mine.
By the way.."The Dopefiend" is inspired by Drugstore Cowboy and No, not that Courtney Love.
And for the record, the Cowboy Junkies' Sweet Jane can suck it.
