Comment:

No comments really are needed, but it's apparent. This is one of those fabulous "80's ballads" mixes you can buy on the TV from K-tel, but instead created at home. Just don't forget to throw down that Member's Only jacket before you get with the makin' out.

Definitely captures the flavor of the era. Interesting mix of music that holds up well, either on its own merits or for camp value (Modern English, Cure, Human League, U2, Blondie, maybe A-Ha) and songs that are best confined to the dustbin of history.

I smile everytime I see "Jump" on a playlist. Or hear it played. David Lee Roth rocks. Love the U2 and the 13-14 pairing.

As it is with many 80's mixes, some songs I still like, a few I tired of many moons ago, and others that if I never heard again, it would be too soon...

I'm with Mesh...several tracks I still enjoy and remember fondly, but a couple of them just make me shudder. Ah well, with any 80's collection worth its salt, you have to take the bad with the good.

So tired of Don't You Want Me but not so Take On Me yet at the time it was the other way round. Time plays tricks like that. Could never abide Whitesnake or Journey but that Cure track seems to improve with age.As for INXS, ugh, never understood their appeal. This is a great though because it has a really fascinating mix of good and bad though I imagine you didn't intend it that way.
