Just a mix I threw together at the *very* last minute at work today (such that it finished as I was walking out the door). The Ken Nordine & Spearhead tracks I just heard for the first time today when the lable rep brought them in, and loved them instantly. The first Gorillaz track is a b-side from the "Clint Eastwood" single, and is easily my favorite song they have released yet - there is an excellent sample of the "Get Carter" score on it. The Radiohead was actually not the tracks I wanted to use, but for obvious reasons, the EMI rep wouldn't allow me to record the copy of Amnesiac that was brought in today (and unfortunately I didn't get to hear more than one track, as I work in the back and it was played out on the sales floor. The biggest complaints I heard from co-workers was that it was short). The title of this mix reflects on my feelings of the mix, which are that while I like all the songs here, the mix get's completely lost after the Barrington Levy track (with the exception of the closer, which I really like). Wow, I've rambled on for a long time now. Guess I should end this. End.
