The first three tracks are terrific. Indiana-bred Winechuggers might fit on here just fine... how about their song "Long Circuitous Path"?
Love this, very in touch with this here Hoosier state. I'd go with John Mellencamp, preferably the acoustic version of Small Town or anything by the renegade punk outfit John Hoosier Menstralcramp.
John Hiatt comes out of Indiana and has written some great songs about the heartland.
I agree with John Mellencamp, or possibly Tom Petty. When I was a kid, my dad always listened to Tom Petty when we were cruisin' them Indiana highways.
