Time to celebrate my favourite thing....women. Yes, they displaced chocolate as my ultimate pleasure round about the time I hit puberty. I've always preferred the female voice to the male although Diamanda Galas did cast a doubt on my preference. The tiresome warblings of Houston and Carey (Oooh listen to me I can hit six different notes in a second) have sometimes turned me towards a warm tenor but eventually I always return to the soothing tones of a Carpenter (sadly not represented here) or the passionate blast of a Bell.Feedback:

Oh, women are my favorite thing as well, favorite by far. I understand what you're saying about the current trend in female pop singers toward vocal histrionics. Love that Cake song, and Mamie and France and more.

It's true, Karen Carpenter had a deeply beautiful voice - it's just too bad she never got to work with song material as great as Nancy Sinatra and Mamie Van Doren did.
