ain't got no hope left but the boogie
Comment:
I promised I would post a more upbeat mix, and here it is.This melange of songs runs the gamut from bluegrass to hiphop to bubblegum pop, modern and classic blues, to jazz and rockabilly and all mixed in with modern works and some groovy remixes. I love mashing genres and eras together, to hopefully produce interesting combinations. Or, at least, I hope it isn't predictable!
I hope you like this one. Please feel free to download it at Divshare (make with the link clickie!).
Feedback:
Stretching yourself wide but I love a mix that embraces many different musical styles. Good stuff.
as long as you have the boogie there is always hope. Nice mix
Digging alot here, the opening 4, Buck 65, 20-22 are all kickin and I'll always have a soft spot for "Soul Finger" (even after Spies Like Us.)
my favorite kind of mix - a little bit of this, a little bit of that... all thrown together for marvelous mix magic. it's like good soup. tons of favorites, both stuff I've loved for years and things brand new to me: Rusted Root, Shirleys Bassey and Ellis, Carol Deene, The Black Keys, Go! Team, Marty Wilde, Diplo, RJD2, Bettye Lavette.
Can't believe I missed this one...killer Them and Black Keys picks!
I forgot to keep working backwards through your mixes. This does look like a buttshaker...
