I like a lot of this but wonder if you know that Your Woman was sung by a man. Seems a little out of keeping with the other tracks.
"Your Woman" was indeed sung by -- Jyoti Mishra -- the one "man" band/one-hit wonder named White Town. We know. Definition number 2 (see above) did allow us to move around a bit and the lyrics are perfect here.
Also, it is better than the RuPaul Charles song that was originally slated. Believe us.

I love 'Your Woman' and reckon it would fit onto 'most any mix, just for its sheer excellence... The mix on the whole is pretty fab, track 10 is an all time fave..

today was XX vs. XY day, but of course, ladies first. great stuff here. loved Molly McQueen, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Barbra Streisand (an all-time favorite "guilty" pleasure), Patti Smith and Supremes picks. my colleague Guerren commented favorably on the White Town and Betty Wright tracks, which are pretty damn good too. hurrah for the double X!
