Comment:
Another tribute to the wonderful world of women in music. Bookended by two modern pop classics inbetween there is a little reggae, punk, 60's pop and a few oddities.Feedback:
Looks cool. I especially love the Slits track.
As Iggy said, I love girls...
As Iggy and doowad said, I love girls.
new girls to explore. thanks!
I must agree with you re: the opener and closer being modern day classics, as is the Candie Payne album IMO. Run was always a favourite of mine whilst a yoof, and amirable 9-10 pairing!
Shampoo ! Here, I'd forgotten about them. Great stuff all around. Love Wendy and Bonnie.
Oh yes! I do love the ladies of rock, and this mix speaks (and sings) to me. Love the punky Rachel Sweet song (Charlotte Hatherley should cover it), the sublime Wendy and Bobbie, the lovely April March and the spunky Slits. Of course I'm just scratching the surface. So did you guys get my last shipment? It included a tribute to the wonderful world of women in music as well.
Love it, specially the two Rachels and- yes!- Daphne and Celeste...
Pop music and women are probably the two greatest things especially when combined! I like the ecclectism of this. If I ever do one of these in my life, I'd try to get as many genres as possible like yours.
Can't go wrong with Rachel Rachel April & the Slits. This makes me hope we can get another trade going, does that seem like a possibility?
Wendy and Bobbie?! How drunk was I when I composed that comment?
