Comment:

Thanks a million to Sammyg123 for agreeing to make this follow-up to "Happy Instruments" an alt DJ mix. I am very happy with the result. I sent Sam 80 minutes of music; he chose half, added 40 minutes of his picks, and then put together the track list.
This mix also uses tracks by Nest of Vipers (16, 20), Mark Petruccelli (18), and RetroJoe (24).

I could have guessed your alt-dj partner just from the poppiness of the mix. Nice job, guys, that is always a fun way to do an alt-dj mix with whole chunks of tunes at one time.

Love the Lonnie Mack pick. Isn't Jim Noir Sam's brother or cousin or best friend or something?

Another pre listen comment I'm afraid. I've got some catching up to do, in more ways than one as I own precious little here. Looks delicious though.

this one's right up my alley. really terrific, guys! great to see a collaboration from two of the site's best. favorites at 30/12/4/3/20/9/11/7... but my favorite pair are the Henri Mancini and Bert Kaempfert picks. there are no happier instruments than these.
