Comment:

My safety pin is a little rusty now......I've devoted many a mix to the obscure so here I opted for the downright obvious. No apologies for overwhelming this with punk standards. Of course there are one or two obscure artists, I couldn't betray my instincts entirely. Dedicated to the British side of punk, as you may have surmised.

A great opening pair, followed by plenty of tried-and-true classics, and a few that are new to me. One of my favorite Mekons tracks too...

Nothing wrong with a little reminder now and then of who set the standards.

I love just about everything here and share your pro-UK prejudices on the punk side of the aisle. Obviousness should not even be a factor--if a song is great, use it.

Put that safety pin through your nose and flob in your mate's face. Great!

your safety pin perhaps, but not your mix making skills.

Obviously a fantastic mix from the other side of the pond -- well my pond anyway. Rusty safety pins never sleep.

Absolutely speechless...except for the fact that "Anarchy In The UK" is a fantastic mix opener I've yet to see elsewhere.

About 50-50 here for me on what I know and don't know. Although the 13-17 run is a bit special, and that's a fact..

Loads of familiar tunes here. Not a bad track to be heard. Nice.

Perfect! (I didn't know Bingo Masters was a standard, but I live in a vacuum. It's one of my fave Fall tunes.)
