Comment:

i made this mix for my boyfriend. he loves the tv show lost and the last song by guster, keep it together (it talks about washing ashore on an island and trying to start over), really reminds me of the show so i wanted to put it on there since the new season starts next week and we just re-watched the previous season. i already had the first beatles song on the cd, here comes the sun, but i was playing their other songs on random and penny lane came on, which made me think of lost again (she is a character) then i remembered that in ob-la-di, ob-la-da they use the name desmond (who is also in lost-they are in love with eachother and penny is trying to rescue him-he is on an island). so i decided to add them also which is why there are so many beatles songs on this mix! i wanted the mix to have an overall upbeat and happy sound(dreary, depressing winter is almost over, looking forward to spring!), so the beatles songs work out for that and now the cd has a mini lost theme too! which hopefully he will like :) if you are not familiar with the show, desmond has repeatedly used the line, "see you in another lifetime brother" so that is where the title comes from!

note: the first push song is from the little miss sunshine soundtrack and the up the ladder song is from disc 2 of the new radiohead cd
