A winter mix. Kind of bleak and melancholy in parts, but don't let that fool you: I adore winter. It's been raining for days here in southern CA, which is sort of unusual, but it's the way I like it. :-) I had to include that Skip Spence track, as I've been listening to it non-stop lately. And in case you're wondering, the version of "As Tears Go By" used in this mix is not the 60s version.Feedback:

Southern CA isn't all I know... My dad lives in Utah, about an hour away from the Rocky Mountains...
any mix that stacks nico, pj harvey, and marianne faithfull together is all right by me. i second hemizen's opinion of the simon and garfunkel track.

i love winter, & i love wintry melancholy mixes - as far as mixes in that category go, this is one of the better ones i've seen. the MBV track is great, love the 5-8 run, love the joy division, dylan, syd, nico, PJ, VU, mag fields...love the looks of this

this looks really nice. love the Yoko Ono, PJ Harvey and Marianne Faithfull selections especially. maybe you belong in Seattle; it rains here all the time - like right now, for instance.
