The Name of the Game
Comment:
Just some tunes...sequenced for your pleasure. And, in honor of the mix title, a little lite entertainment, perhaps? And, lastly....KA-BLAMO!!!
Feedback:
This looks incredibly fun. Thank you gnome!
I won't lie, my listening queue has gone nuts but i'm downloading now!. I love 13-15. I need the rest. Great to see a Gnome production here again. Nerdy, Snobby, Glorious without a lick of pretension. That's my man...
And f**k I forgot all about Jeff Mills.
Wow - this looks more exciting than a board game version of tetris..if only such a thing existeted (sigh). Great to have a gnome mix back on the boards Chris, I look forward to the aural pleasure..
Looks cool, just please don't tell me that #19 is a Zager and Evans cover.
i have to admit i know very little here, but it certainly looks fascinating...
Nice to see you around, and though it seems slightly less eclectic than usual, it looks like fun. And, as Sam noted, that blog is a trip.
I was led here thinking I'd find an Abba mix and then I find something infinitely more arresting. Good stuff.
Well, I don't know if it's "infintely more arresting" than an Abba mix, but it sure looks damn fine to me. ;)
Awesome stuff. Love seeing a little Reiko Ike
Surely a multi-ethnic mixture of aural culture!
Know just a few artists on here, but this looks like a groovy ride, mister. I'm especially curious to hear more stuff from the Shaolin Soul compilations.
"The Name of the Game"...is I like it like this.
This does look fascinating.
I think I enjoyed this but I can't remember anything.
Very cool journey (and hilarious blog)

Four songs in and I already feel compelled to comment. Excellent work, thanks for the download - I'm lovin' it
Just some great songs... style.
that Wayne Cochran opener knocked me cold! (but kept me warm.) great mix, gnome. other favorites are Monomono, Ike Reiko, Abweichendes Verhalten, Es and Wax Tailor tracks. If I'm not mistaken, the latter sampled some bits from "Alice," one of my favorite Woody Allen movies. it is indeed good to see a new musicgnome mix in the joint.
Looks great, though there's little I know to commeny on. I've added it to my downloading queue. Excellent lightbulb artwork -- that gives me an idea...
Ka-blamo pretty much sums it up. I'm loving the robot man >> Abweichendes Verhalten right now.
Ike Reiko is killer! I read about one of her albums and how she stared in erotic films even though she was only 17. oops! Great mix.
Anything that begins with Wayne Cochran and The Blasters has got plenty going for it. Thanks for the download.
Damn Chris, this was off-the-hook. That 15-17 stretch is wild! Track 4 is a now a new favourite. Amazing mix.
Gorgeously exotic as always.
