Comment:

Fleetwood Mac is probably my all-time favorite band, and while that is mostly because I worship at the alter of Stevie, obviously Lindsey Buckingham was a major reason for their success as well. While he is a great guitar player, producer, and arranger, he is not really a great songwriter himself and unfortunately (for him) he couldn't really connect with the audience the way Stevie could, so I don't think he ever got the notoriety he wanted or thought he deserved. Still, a lot of his songs (both solo and with the group, especially on Tusk) are gems. His last two solo CDs are both worth checking out. My favorite of his songs are Never Going Back Again, Countdown, and It Was You.

P.S. I didn't forget to include Go Your Own Way and Holiday Road, two of his most popular songs. They are just not my favorites, although Go Your Own Way was the last song cut from my mix.

This would almost qualify as a guilty sin in my book (although I am not 100% sure why, maybe it is the rock snob in me), but I just know that I would enjoy this when driving (I'd even be able to turn the volume up as Sonia would enjoy it too).nice stuff.

i have never gotten over fleetwood mac becoming anything other than a blues band so i am afraid i have neglected mr. buckingham. perhaps i will correct this flaw.

I think he is a hell of a songwriter. Crystal is one of my favorite songs and I love his solo stuff too. Great idea for a mix.
