Comment:

This mix encompasses much of what I've been listening to lately. Johnny Cash's American series and George Harrison have been in heavy rotation, but other things have crept in too. This mix has a sad tone to it, but it ends on some positive notes, which pretty much sums up how things have been around here lately. Still sad, but with bright moments. I can see the sunlight at the end of the tunnel, and I'm making my way there. I've included a link to this one in case anyone wants to wallow along with me.

Wither thou goest, Buglady, so goest we, especially since we know the tunes will be supreme. Plus, most of us like to listen on the dark side.

this looks like a wonderfully, beautifully bittersweet listen, deanna - i, for one, am anxious to hear it in full - at first glance, though, i'm loving the george, she & him, wilco, VU, van the man & big star tracks - i always thought i was the only one who actually liked that johnny cash cover of the fab four track, glad to see it here

Ladybug, ladybug! fly away home . . .
This is the right way to mix this kind of mood, carefully coaxing it out of the shadows.

I know it's rudiculous, but that cover art just draws me in. One of my favorite images I've seen on these boards. The musical accompaniment looks spot on. I look forward to delving in. Thx for the link!

Love the feel of this. The opening three, the KoC. George, Shins and 17-20 run, all great.
