Comment:
And, yet another installment in the '07 Year in the Making Series. And, a mighty huzzah to Barrydali!!!!! for his wonderful RYM '07 Best of List, which provided wonderful guidance to tunes I had, yet, not known. See it HERE.So, if you'd care, get this mix, right folkin' here! ; )
Feedback:
So much I love here... 3, 9, 11-14 are highlights for me. And what a great closer! Love it!
Thank you Gnome! Thank you Barry! A tome (Fruedian slip, meant ton but let's keep it) of things that I've wanted to check out here...
some pretty cool stuff here, especially like that 7-8 pairing - gonna have to get acquainted with alot of this
Yea Michigan bands.
without the link I would have been pretty lost, so thanks for that !Anyway, just had a very chilled morning tidying the office listening to this . . . really liked the middle section around Feist.
Fantastic mix. Good ole Barry & The Gnome. Love the Marissa & Devendra..
And all from 07! Can't go wrong listening to Barry.
I, too am enamored of much here especially Nadler and Garner. Just right for the plane trip I'm taking today.
So much to like here.
And what a great year 2007 was for music.

There's a lot here I managed to miss in 2007, thanks for the update and the education. Can't wait to hear it!
Thanks for the nod Mr Gnome. I'm bound to say this is killer arent I? Three records featured here not yet on my list are jockeying for position in my listening queue, leaving only 17 and 10 to investigate. Terric stuff. Ben and Bruno.. *sigh*
I've been listening to this and it's absolutely lovely. Thanks again!
Another killer addition to 07 series. Loved the list Barry.
I haven't got around to 2007 yet (right now I'm up to about 1858), but I will use this as a map & take a trip . . . thanks!
And it keeps getting better and better. I too have been known to look at Barry's list for guidance, so I'm familiar with a lot of stuff on here, yet I can't find a weak spot. Another excellent mix from the gnome.
Such a great mix, Imperious.
Lots of my 2007 favs here, 3,7,9,11 amd 12 amongst them, and yet so much more to explore. Thanks as always.
lovely stuff, 'gnome. really nice, atmospheric set worthy of Barrydali with all his various 'birdsongs.' loved the Joanna Newsom, Jeffrey Lewis/Marissa Nadler set, Angels of Light and the entire PJ Harvey to Devendra Banhart bit. Wildbirds & Peacedrums was a standout.
Not much to say that hasn't already been said, hard to wrong with the two of you involved (even if one is involved indirectly).
