There is a book called Crap Towns which lists the top 50 ugly British towns. Somehow Coventry evades criticism despite its equally brutal cousin Birmingham being included. Mutilated by dull-eyed planners after the war, in which it had suffered severe bombing, it stands as testament to how not to rebuild a city. A few years back in a desperate attempt to drive drunken mobs of youths from the street the council banned drinking in certain outdoor areas. Of course the youths of Coventry poured their alcohol into lemonade bottles, outwitting the staid city burghers. Today we venture to this ghastly outpost for a record fair. Our lemonade bottles are full to the brim.

well you know what they say: if life gives you alcohol... make lemonade. mostly unfamiliar stuff on this one, would love to hear it.
Well as mum always said: when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade -- or alcoholic beverages in this case. Okay, my mother's dating tornadoZ, so they're starting to think alike. Never mind. Anyway, this looks sparkling. Who cares what the town looks like when you can score cool records, like the ones above.
