Comment:
Only some of my favourites from Diva Chaka.Feedback:
Mike Douglas! Drummer chick! Perfect together. Great comp DJ. "Tell Me Something Good" always makes my toes curl.
Call the bucket brigade, my stuff's on fire. Just what i expect from you, Karen. Funktastic!
I really need to listen to this, as I only know "Tell Me Something GOod" and "I Feel for You."
this looks so awesome, i'm speechless!
Well-deserved single artist mix. Beauty.
A Diva indeed. A fitting tribute.
fabulous
not a fan but i appreciate your enthusiasm (wasn't it her birthday today [the 24th]?)
err i meant the 23rd - sorry
Me and my brothers used to dance around the house to Chaka Khan (amongst others) but we lost that tape a long time ago...
The horns opening Once You Get Started are the perfect beginning for this set, with Chaka's voice piercing the stratosphere. The early Rufus stuff and her 80s solo hits chart high on my all-time R&B faves list. Brava!
Great stuff.
yep, got to admit that I always enjoyed Chubby Khan . . . . although I am now a little embarrassed at the moniker that she got in our house ! (sorry, Chubby!) . . . . she is spectacular and amazingly missing from AOTM . . . so well done for rectifying the ommission.
All Good!
great but I miss "Fate"
Incredible! Thanks for this.
