Well...it certainly doesn't give the impression of being a one-dimensional, stereotypical take on what you'd call "Punk Rock" (with a capital "P" and "R"). "New Wave" doesn't seem to quite do it justice either, being little more than just another tag. I guess you'd say it's the more eccentric, experimental, freewheeling and (sometimes) abrasive side of rock - or "post-rock," if you will - music.
Those Minutemen were well named . . . they could pack a lot into their music . . . I guess that is my picj here, along with the Clash and Undertones . . . and PIL . . .
some crucial stuff here glad to see the Indian Summer song, probably their best.
