Another mix made for myself to while away an hour or so on a lonely bank holiday weekend. Last night was the Eurovision song contest, in which a Bosnian act that reminded me of Of Montreal were robbed of victory by an appalling Russian trio involving a rollerskater and a bad violinist. The theme of the mix is just generally my favourite things at the moment, the fact that the opener and closer have 'summer' in the title is pure coincidence, they just work well in those positions. I'm hoping my summer will improve, and since this will be the third one out of the last four to have a new Hold Steady album to get acquainted with, it might not be so sad.
