Comment:
1. Your favorite song with the name of a city in the title or text (winnipeg!)2. A song you've listened to repeatedly when you were depressed at some point in your life. (ahh the most tantalizing post break-up song in the world, and the fucking guitar build up mid song is out of this world
3. Ever bought an entire album just for one song and winded up disliking everything but that song? Gimme that song.
4. A song whose lyrics you thought you knew in the past, but about which you later learned you were incorrect (I thought "dog" was "doll", still not sure which makes more sense)
5. Your least favorite song on one of your favorite albums of all time. (i really despise this song, it reminds me of a cheesy tv spot song)
6. A song you like by someone you find physically unattractive or otherwise repellent (ooookay, john darnielle. not repellent but he's definitely not attractive
7. Your favorite song that has expletives in it that's not by Liz Phair. (act. this was a tie with cake's shut the fuck up)
8. A song that sounds as if it's by someone British but isn't. (I had a tough time with this one, but i chose the decemberists simply because i thought they were british for a whole 6 months)
9. A song you like (possibly from your past) that took you forever to finally locate a copy of (had this track on my high school computer, then the hard drive was wiped and i just recently came across it. it was a glorious reunion!)
10. A song that reminds you of spring but doesn't mention spring at all (perky new beginnings :)
11. A song that sounds to you like being happy feels. (I absolutely absolutely love this track, for all the jack haters, listen to this...well zach gill wrote it..)
12. Your favorite song from a non-soundtrack compilation album. (this was from a "beat cancer" comp., this is also one of my fav. song titles)
13. A song from your past that would be considered politically incorrect now (my "past" isn't very long, being that im young, but this is certainly not politically correct. runner up- billy joel we didnt start the fire
14. A song sung by an overweight person
15. A song you actually like by an artist you otherwise hate. ( iknowiknow)
16. A song by a band (whose members actually play instruments) that features three or more female members.
17. One of the earliest songs that you can remember listening to (i knew all the words at five, its on video and i must say i don't know how my parents every resisted my charm ;)
18. A song you've been mocked by friends for liking (Innocent!!)
19. A really good cover version you think no one else has heard (im sure bunches of people have heard and loved this one, but its on of my favorites
20. A song that has helped cheer you up (or empowered you somehow) after a breakup or otherwise difficult situation. (also had a difficult time with this one, because there are a lot of songs that fit, final choice was one i can never resist and that reminds me of my awesome roomie :)
Feedback:
this looks fun. :D
Time to play with the beat box instead of in the sand box! Young and sassy and silly and personal. Good job.
