Comment:

"The one thing in the world of value is the active soul." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Giving some thought to the quotation above, I find it a necessity as one ages to maintain an active soul, especially as active accomplishments and pursuits diminish. Our culture holds activity in the highest regard, a standard that is almost impossible to sustain throughout life. Nevertheless, for me, there will always be music, there will always be the dance, and there will always be activity.
Quiz: For a copy of the mix, tracked and with artwork answer this one ... Which musician had their name used as a pun in the movie Blazing Saddles?

I believe it was Mongo Santamaria whose name was used in Blazing Saddles. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy handy to check it out. Onlly know him and Tjader among the artists, and I'm not familiar with any of the tracks, so I'll have to give this a listen. Your mixes are always elightening.

Yes, Mongo's the answer. When the character of Mongo entered a scene, a character cried, "Mongo! Santa Maria!".
