i made this for a friend of mine... I was trying to show her the beauty of "indiemo" as a genre of music.

most people wont recognize that as being a genre, and thats fine.

i like my categories and boxes nicely labeled.

I don't even know what indiemo is! Indie + Emo? As long as you enjoy it, labels don't matter. Kind of you to make it for your friend.

Like I said, I like being able to know where things go. Putting things in categories, and labeling things is human nature, I don't get why music fans all feel they have to fight it.

But this is a discussion for another day. :)

It definitely should be a genre. Stuff like Death Cab for Cutie fits both, actually a lot of stuff fits both.
