Comment:

Recently, I came across the disturbing fact that most of my frie-nds never listened to this band. Therefore, this mix is an attempt to breath life into one of rock's most talented acts. Supposedly due to bad off-stage behavior The Kinks were banned from touring in the US during their prime (1965-1969) which seemed to se-nd them into obscurity in many American households. They en-ded up reestablishing themselves stateside thanks to songs like Lola and Come Dancing, but it remains one of the great rock tragedies that most Americans didn't get to experience the band at their peak. Give it a listen and let me know if you feel the same way.

Likable stuff and I must admit forgetting that some of these 60s hits were indeed by the Kinks.

Their output is quite voluminous, which is why reducing it to one mix serves the purpose very well. Some fine choices.

You really can't go wrong with a mix entirely of Kinks songs. Loe everything on here.
