'Do You Hear What I Hear?' is the 2008 edition of my Christmas/Holiday mix. The common thread, and the type of music I pick every year for this mix, is typically energetic and quirky. One of the biggest complaints people seem to have regarding Christmas music is how repetitive and boring it can be. I really try to pull music for my mixes that make you think twice about Holiday tunes.

The songs are mixed with various sound bites and news clips and the majority of the material is pulled from vinyl records. I've added compression to the digitized songs in order to keep them as loud as the tracks that I pulled from CD. I didn't take out the pops and ticks from the records because I like the way it sounds.
