Comment:

I tried to bring up a mix that represents kisses (or a thirst therefore) in the widest sense and tickles the listener in vastly different qualities... but consciously never delivers that final dash until Nusrat's masterpiece unfolds. Including "Really Now" was the latest revision to the tracklist - I think it's the kind of song that you can appreciate the most after having gone through tracks 1-13 for real.

The download link leads you to a single mp3 file of 91 minutes and, for those interested, there's a translation of the (originally Czech) track 7 at http://www.bittova.com/en/index2.php?kam=10&id=65. Track 4 concludes with an excerpt of "Cloud Watching" by Angus MacLise.

The title goes after a quote by Rumi and the front artwork is called "The Reunion of the Soul and the Body" by William Blake.

I really dug this mix. This was quite a musical journey for me. Some of the songs were a little tedious to my unfamiliarized ears, but I found myself listening to the entire thing again. I really enjoyed the Jeff Buckley track and the closing Dreamletts track. And the Cocteau Twins also. I think you are right When you say that you tried to bring up a mix that represents kisses and tickles the listener in vastly different qualities, I get that impression. Good job. I look forward to whatever else you cook up in your spare time.

Thanks! Your feedback prompted me to repair the song listing. Apparently title #4 must not exceed 10 letters or otherwise the whole thing implodes... So, it's called "Aikea-Guinea". And perhaps I'll be able to add the artwork, too, once the AOTM tech machine sees more generous days.
