Comment:

The first two discs of a three-disc set of my favorite band, the Clash. Disc one: their more rock-oriented material; disc two: rock rap reggae; and disc three: all over the map. Favorite Clash songs: "Lost in the Supermarket," "Bankrobber," "Midnight to Stevens," "Complete Control," "Rudie Can't Fail," and (I better make it a short list) "Spanish Bombs." BTW, disc one goes heavy on the first two albums & light on SANDINISTA! and COMBAT ROCK whereas disc two (and, later, disc three) highlights more from SANDINISTA! and COMBAT ROCK. It has been ten years now since I started delving heavily into the music of the Clash, a life-changing event. They sure as hell blew away the blander rock-reggae of 311 and Sublime. . . .
