Comment:
I gave this mix to Rindy today. The title is a play on the novel 'Wuthering Heights', that she told me about, and a mix between describing what I think a relationship is about and how that applies in our own lives. She sent me a text tonight about it: 'I love the cd. It is so beautiful.. I wept.. It was very moving, and interesting.' That made me so happy to receive. I was also worried about giving the cd, as I have been frequently before, because I often get very raw with how closely the emotion and context of the songs perfectly strike so clearly close to home in ways that the person will likely relate to. Like so obviously perfect stuff, it sounds like the stories/songs are about them/us, right then and now. I like that this cd tells a very true and sentimental story, that journeys through the expanse of the relationship that we've had, including those happy shared moment songs, with the songs that she unknowingly was asking for and those songs that express what I should be saying so much better than I ever could.
