So my mixtape is the kind of "mellow" mix where you probably know a few of the songs and know some of the words to them even if you don't the know these specific versions and definitely some sing alongs for all the night owls to have the communal experience that music brings. It also has a few moody songs that go well at strange hours. At least that's what I think. Heaven - Louis Armstrong & Ella Fitzgerald (I wanted on song where everybody that was still awake would sing along to and dance. And this song is long enough that by the end everyone will have been able to learn the words.) Besame Mucho - Cesaria Evora [Se±or Cocnut's Chachacha Mix] (I wanted another "light" dance song because once you start you have to go for at least one more song until your meal arrives and I think this version of this song would sound SO good coming from a dusty jukebox.) Leaving On A Jet Plane - Bjork & PJ Harvey (An all time favorite song of mine) I think It's Going To Rain Today - Irma Thomas (What a way to end a late night Irma Thomas on vocals with Randy Newman on piano fantastic. The Kate Melua version is also fantastic so I was torn between which to play. Another all time favorite song.)
