This was fun. I like my bookends. Two different songs with the same title by two legends. And I got a few songs not just about celebrating being woman but celebrating your womanhood within your culture. The Fiddling Ladies - Eileen Ivers, Maire Breatnach, Natalie MacMaster (Three fiddle masters on one song! And as you may have noticed I do try to include an instrumental whenever I can.) Japanese Girl - Hitomi (Overblown noisy J-Pop at its best. Oh and it is about finding out who you are being that and accepting that, in this case a being a Japanese girl much like accepting yourself as a redneck girl.) La Reina - La Lupe (The Queen. yup the title says it all I think.)
