Like all the best episodes of Law & Order this is inspired by real life events. Or, more specifically, a distinct lack of certain real life events with a certain real life person. And just because I'm over it now doesn't mean that the mix has to be put out to pasture.

I ordered it in a emotionally narratular fashion - passing from wistfulness, on through the six stages of frustration, and finally taking things to their logical conclusion - face melting electric guitar jams. It's a bit shorter than I normally like my mixes to be, but at almost 15 minutes in length the epic Sleater-Kinney 2 for 1 at the end pads the running time out to a respectable 47 minutes.
