Comment:
This mix was inspired by a recent review I read by Greg Kot of the Chigago Tribune. Kot was reviewing The Cars comeback album "Move Like This."He remarked that "Outside of that immaculate first album, the Cars always made better singles anyway, and that's still true here."
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but that statement baffled me.
Being a) a diehard Cars fan and b) a somewhat petty music geek, I've collected two non-single tracks (and I could've easily gone with more than two tracks) from each of The Cars seven studio albums to rebut Kot's statement.
Does this seem like pathological behavior to you? It might be, but I had a good time geeking out.
Feedback:
I don't know what Kot's statement means either, but you've got some fine tracks here.
