2014 was a really bad year for me. It started with a winter that wouldn't end and transitioned into a work situation I wouldn't wish on anybody. Sure, there were good things that happened. I paid off a car loan. And then the transmission went out on it.

It was just that kind of a hitting bottom sort of a year. Thankfully things did get better as 2015 rolled around.

As I look back on 2014 now, I like to think of it as setting needed changes in motion.
