I've found albums harder to get into this year, but there have been some great ones and lots of excellent songs - hence, I think, this ridiculously long playlist!

A couple of 2019 songs have got on: [10 Good Reasons for Modern Drugs], because it's the live version, which was released this year, and Black because Dave's performance at the BRIT Awards was one of the best things I've ever seen, and because I think the song is incredibly important. Fontaines DC have snuck on twice, in keeping with the recentish tradition of letting one band get on the mix twice. They're not necessarily my favourite band, but these songs are brilliant, so here they are.
